About Me
Welcome to my page! My name is Lydia Hamel and I am currently a Journalism Major with a Minor in Criminal Justice at the University of Central Florida. I graduated from Daytona State College with my Associates of Arts degree in 2021, and will be graduating from the University of Central Florida with my Bachelors in the Fall of 2026.
I have previously specialized in Freelance writing with the Ormond Beach Observer for two years, and have worked alongside with UCF's newspaper The Charge, as their Public Safety reporter.
When I am not behind my laptop, you can find me spending time with my loved ones or exploring the outdoors of my hometown Ormond Beach!
